Custom Bird Netting for Bridge Infrastructure

Not all bird control projects are straightforward — structural details like building materials, configurations, and access points make every installation unique. At the VTA Bridge, our team implemented a custom bird netting solution designed to fit the structure precisely, with minimal visual impact.

We used low-profile corner and intermediate attachments, along with a sturdy cable framework, to install pigeon-sized 2” bird netting — creating an impenetrable barrier that keeps birds from roosting or nesting in hard-to-reach areas. For certain parts of the project, a smaller mesh size was used to block access for smaller bird species as well.

The result? A tailored, long-term bird control solution that protects both infrastructure and the surrounding environment.
