Across the country, Air Force bases rely on secure, well-maintained hangars to protect critical equipment and personnel. That’s why Nation Wide Bird Control has been called in time and time again to help with persistent bird problems — including at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana.
At Barksdale, we installed over 120,000 square feet of bird netting, covering the entire underside of the hangar’s ceiling beams. This comprehensive barrier protects valuable materials, equipment, and people from the health hazards and damage caused by bird droppings.
We used StealthNet®, a durable, low-visibility bird netting that provides complete exclusion for pest birds like pigeons, starlings, and sparrows. Once in place, the netting blends discreetly into the structure — providing long-term protection without disrupting day-to-day operations.
Our bird control solutions have been trusted by the U.S. military both at home and abroad to solve some of the most demanding bird control challenges.
