Large-Scale Bird Control at McCormick Place

As one of the largest convention centers in the world, McCormick Place in Chicago welcomes millions of visitors each year. But with its prominent lakefront location and exposed structural beams, the facility had become an attractive roosting site for pigeons and gulls — leading to unsightly droppings and nesting debris falling onto sidewalks and entryways below.
The solution? A full-scale bird netting installation designed to completely seal off overhead roosting areas. Using boom lifts and expert rigging, our team installed durable, low-visibility bird net panels beneath the tall beams, creating an effective, long-term barrier that keeps pest birds out — without impacting the building’s appearance.
